Business Card CDs or DVDs and Shaped CDs/DVDs have become a powerful and unique marketing tool. They are ideal for direct mailing, interactive product demos, membership cards, for trade shows, focused marketing campaigns, back stage passes, sponsor promotions or incentive give a ways.
So what is a business card or shaped disc?
A Shaped CD/DVD is an ordinary CD or DVD that can be customized into virtually any shape. Imagine its shape as your logo, or perhaps a visual representation of your brand. Your unique Shaped CD / DVD becomes a compelling and strategic part of your message. Your message comes alive as a powerful vehicle that consumers see, hear, feel and interact with over and over again. Business Card or shape CD/DVD can carry all data formats that regular CD or DVD carries. The only difference is that storage size is smaller. Usually between 40MB - 200MB, for a CD and 200MB - 500MB for DVD, depending on the radius of the CD / DVD and the shape used. Most standard shapes are the 58mm or 63mm Hockey rink business card CDs/DVDs or the 80mm mini round CD/DVD. Various custom shapes can also be cut.
Cutting any CD will decrease the amount of data – music, audio, video, MB of information, etc. – that the disc can hold. Our templates page shows the content of all of our CD/DVD business card templates. In addition to the templates for our shaped CDs we can cut custom shapes with a minimum quantity of 1000 disc. There are two types of custom shaped discs: Asymmetrical and symmetrical. It’s very important that the disc is well balanced and cut with precision to create the best quality disc.
