Thermal vs. Inkjet Printing

Thermal printing consits of a film that is melted on top of the disc to create the design. The quality of thermal printing is considerably better than inkjet printing as far as images and color. The finished look has a glossy finish that makes the finished product look great.

Why go inkjet when thermal is so much better? Inkjet is a great alternative for thermal if you have a simple design. Inkjet handles gradients and text better than thermal. So if you have a simple design and want to pay less to print inkjet is defintally the way to go.
